A free event for all ages.

We are the ones we've been waiting for.

This year, storms rolled through our neighborhoods. Bills that could solve Hawaiʻi's biggest problems have fallen flat in the legislature. The cost of calling Hawaiʻi home keeps climbing out of reach. And big money is still calling the shots, shaping our daily lives.

No one is coming to save us — but we can show up for ourselves.

🤝 Hoʻohui means to come together, to unite, to join. It's one of Our Hawaiʻi's core principles; the belief that there is strength in numbers, that movements are built conversation by conversation, neighbor by neighbor, until we have the collective power to shape our own future.

What to expect:

  • 🎶 Live Music by The Vitals and Irie Love
  • 🗺 Community Resource Vendors
  • 🥁 Healing through Art Workshops
  • 🎨 Community Mural: Add Your Mark with Solomon Enos
  • 🖼 Open Gallery Experiences
  • 🍱 Eats & Drinks by Nui Kealoha
  • ... & MORE!

Free to attend. ʻOhana-friendly. All ages welcome.

Optional donations at the door go directly toward storm relief and long-term community recovery for folks still rebuilding across Oʻahu and beyond.

Come together with other local people, kānaka and kamaʻāina, who care about creating a Hawaiʻi that works for all working people, not just a wealthy few. Not wishing, but organizing. Not waiting, but building.

Hui pū. Join the Movement.

Presented by Our Hawaiʻi and Capitol Modern in partnership with Mori. Doors open at 4PM. For parking and public transportation options please visit capitolmodern.org/visit.
