Submission Form: The Our Hawai'i Pledge

The Our Hawai'i Pledge is based off of the policy agenda "Solutions for Our Hawai'i" which is backed by 19 leading community and statewide organizations across the islands.

The pledge commitment is forward-looking from the point of signing, and applies to any race that a candidate may run for the rest of their career. If a candidate breaks the pledge by knowingly accepting over $100 from corporate PACs, corporate lobbyists, or the executives of the listed industries, or backtracking on one of the policy commitments and does not come into compliance after outreach, they will be removed from the website and publicly following a one-strike policy (see FAQ at our-hawaii.org/pledge).

To verify that the politician has signed the Our Hawai’i pledge, please include a link that features the pledge language on an official social media account or website OR email a photo of the politician signing a copy of the pledge to pledge@our-hawaii.org. A printable version of the pledge is available here to physically sign: tinyurl.com/ohpledge NOTE: Simply answering "yes" or writing your name in this box is not enough to be considered a signer, as a separate, independent verification is needed (because we have no way to know who is filling out this form).
